Our restaurant is a part of a successful and well-established restaurant chain. With our recent expansion into new services, we are looking for a Restaurant Chain Marketing Specialist with high cultural and community awareness and excellent interpersonal skills to provide centralized advertising, marketing, and communication support to multiple restaurants operating within the restaurant chain supported in operations by our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop customized advertising, promotional, and communication strategies for individual restaurants within the chain based on their location, customer demographics, competitive environment, business objectives, and community characteristics.
Provide advertising and marketing support services to restaurant managers by recommending location-specific campaigns, promotional initiatives, and customer engagement strategies tailored to the needs of each restaurant.
Conduct market research for individual restaurant locations by analyzing local consumer behaviour, demographic trends, competitors, seasonal demand, and community preferences to identify marketing opportunities.
Collaborate with restaurant managers to identify business priorities and develop advertising plans that support the objectives of each restaurant while maintaining consistency with the business’ overall marketing strategy.
Plan, coordinate, and implement localized advertising campaigns across approved digital, print, social media, community, and promotional channels for individual restaurant locations.
Adapt corporate marketing campaigns and promotional materials to maximize their effectiveness within each restaurant's local market while ensuring compliance with branding standards.
Develop location-specific communication plans that consider neighbourhood characteristics, cultural diversity, local events, schools, businesses, community organizations, and customer purchasing patterns.
Coordinate local marketing initiatives, sponsorships, charitable activities, school partnerships, festivals, and community events that strengthen each restaurant's presence within its local community.
Create and maintain localized advertising content, promotional materials, social media communications, and customer engagement campaigns for individual restaurant locations.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of advertising campaigns implemented for each restaurant by analyzing customer engagement, promotional effectiveness, sales trends, and return on marketing investment.
Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for restaurant management and the Head Restaurant Manager regarding the effectiveness of location-specific advertising strategies and opportunities for future marketing improvements.
Analyze customer feedback, online reviews, survey results, and social media interactions relating to individual restaurant locations and recommend communication strategies to improve customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure advertising campaigns accurately reflect menu offerings, pricing, seasonal products, operating hours, special events, and local promotional activities.
Recommend adjustments to marketing and communication strategies for individual restaurants based on campaign performance, changing market conditions, consumer behaviour, and competitive analysis.
Develop and support customer loyalty initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community engagement activities designed to increase customer retention and strengthen relationships within each restaurant's local market.
Monitor developments in advertising, consumer behaviour, digital marketing technologies, and restaurant industry trends, and recommend innovative approaches that can be adapted to the needs of different restaurant locations.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Arts Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations, preferably within the restaurant, food service, hospitality, retail, or other consumer-facing industry. • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies for multiple locations, branches, franchises, or business units. • Demonstrated experience adapting marketing campaigns to the specific demographics, customer profiles, competitive environment, and community characteristics of individual locations. • Experience conducting local market research, including analysis of consumer behaviour, demographic trends, competitor activities, seasonal demand, and community preferences. • Experience developing and coordinating integrated advertising campaigns involving digital, social media, print, email, promotional, and community-based marketing channels. • Experience developing marketing strategies for different demographic, cultural, and customer groups, with the ability to adapt messaging and promotional approaches accordingly. • Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining relationships with local media, influencers, community organizations, businesses, schools, event organizers, or other promotional partners. • Strong professional writing, editing, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, persuasive, audience-specific advertising and promotional content. • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop location-specific campaigns and innovative promotional concepts designed to increase customer awareness, engagement, and restaurant traffic. • Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including understanding of platform-specific content development, audience engagement, and advertising practices. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator, and demonstrated ability to prepare professional advertising and promotional materials. • Proficiency in Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Workspace, with the ability to use these tools independently for marketing activities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for marketing analysis, reporting, presentations, and campaign planning. • Experience creating and editing digital graphics, promotional materials, short-form videos, social media content, and other visual communications. • Experience analyzing campaign performance using customer engagement, conversion rates, sales trends, customer acquisition costs, return on advertising spend (ROAS), and other marketing KPIs. • Ability to manage multiple restaurant locations, campaigns, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing marketing priorities simultaneously while maintaining consistent brand standards. • Significant cultural and community awareness, including knowledge of local market characteristics, community values, events, consumer preferences, and location-based marketing practices, with the ability to translate this knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
