Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilingsMeasure, cut, fit and install drywall sheetsPosition and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joistsCut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outletsInstall acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lathInstall exterior and interior steel studsInstall metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power toolsInstall vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulationPrepare wall and ceiling layoutsUtilize laser alignment systemWork at heights, on scaffolding or swing stagesFit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwarePrepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring toolsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsBuild foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
