Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materialsDirect placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to gradeFill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cementOperate power vibrators to compact concreteLevel top surface concrete according to grade and depth specificationImpart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power toolsInstruct apprenticesInstall anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixturesApply hardening and sealing components to cure surfacesWaterproof, damp proof and restore surfacesRepair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structuresRead and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
