Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring toolsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsBuild foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systemsFit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwareRead and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructionsMove tools, equipment and other materialsDirect placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
