Job Opportunity: Foamed Insulation Applicator (NOC 72321) Full-Time, Permanent Location: Kitimat, BC Company: Brock Canada Industrial Ltd.

Brock Canada Industrial Ltd., located in Kitimat, BC, is seeking to hire a full-time, permanent Foamed Insulation Applicator. The ideal candidate will possess a trade certificate or diploma, have the ability to communicate in English, and have 1 2 years of experience in the insulation field.

Key Responsibilities: • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements. • Select the appropriate type of insulation required. • Instruct apprentices. • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools. • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods. • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials. • Supervise other workers. • Apply waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials. • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers. • Estimate costs and materials. • Operate CADD and other computer software systems. • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment. • Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, mould, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.

What We Offer: Competitive wage: $32.50 $45.00 per hour (based on experience)
