Reports to the Director of Corporate and Financial Services and collaborates closely with the HR Advisor and Director of Public of Public Works Operations. This role supports core human resources functions for the Public Works department while leading and administering the
organization’s occupational health and safety program. It ensures compliance with employment legislation, safety regulations, and organizational policies while promoting a safe and productive workplace. The position works collaboratively with management, supervisors, and employees to deliver HR services, coordinate safety initiatives, and foster a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.

This is an exempt position with a salary range of $86,000 to $92,000, commensurate with education and experience and includes a comprehensive benefit package, Municipal Pension Plan and moving allowance.
