Plan the incorporation of landscape structuresRead blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirementsTrim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruningWater and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardensApply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutionsAssess the health of lawnsExamine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and diseasePlan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposesPlant and maintain private and public lawns and gardensUtilize hand and power toolsPlant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and treesLay sod or seedClean and maintain equipmentAssist in pruning trees, shrubs and plantsMaintain clean and safe work environmentOperate and maintain landscape maintenance equipmentPerform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipmentOrganize planting of trees, gardens and lawns
