Responsibilities

Tasks: -Coordinate subcontractor’s activities -Select trade subcontractors -Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates -Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors -Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress -Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements -Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control -Read blueprint, schemas and drawings -Plan and manage budgets -Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions -Plan and organize construction projects -Prepare and submit progress and other reports

Key responsibilities: -Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations. -Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. -Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and communication. -Manage tender submissions, including take-offs, estimating, pricing, and review of specifications to secure project contracts. -Oversee the setup of projects in construction management software (e.g., Procore), ensuring accurate entry of milestones, contracts, and purchase orders. -Track and monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, addressing issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards. -Review and confirm architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and client requirements. -Conduct feasibility studies and produce detailed reports to support project decision-making and planning. -Facilitate site visits, meetings, and building surveys to ensure project alignment with on-site conditions and stakeholder needs. -Approve invoices and ensure proper documentation and budget adherence in coordination with accounting teams. -Implement innovative processes to enhance project efficiency, such as streamlined filing systems or standardized drawing protocols. -Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
