The Davis Auto Group has an exciting opportunity as we are hiring a General Manager for Davis Ford in Pincher Creek, AB. Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager will oversee all dealership departments to drive business results and profitability while maximizing employee engagement and enhancing the customer experience.

Davis Ford is the newest addition to the Davis Auto Group who will be acquiring the dealership on February 1, 2026. Our ideal candidate has strong character, is exceptionally skilled in relationship management and is a natural leader; preferring to work hands-on in the business rather than sitting in an office. An individual with a strong automotive sales background is preferred.

The successful candidate must live in Pincher Creek or the Pincher Creek area or be open to relocating to be a part of the community and will be offered a competitive compensation package including a partnership opportunity.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide oversight and direction to all departments within the dealership to drive business results and profitability
Lead, manage and support department managers and employees to hold them accountable to achieving current business and productivity goals and improve profitability and efficiency
Model and champion our company values in day-to-day leadership to create a positive, motivating workplace which maximizes employee engagement and supports the well- being of employees
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty, generate referrals and enhance the reputation of the dealership in the community
Plan all aspects of dealership operations including setting productivity and sales forecasts, managing expenses and developing monthly and annual goals for all departments within the dealership

Qualifications:

Leadership ability and teambuilding skills to effectively motivate, inspire and manage employees
A “roll up the sleeves” attitude and approach to business and leadership
Excellent knowledge of operations and business process with the ability to read and analyze financial statements
Strong analytical and decision making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree
Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
A passion to be involved in and connected to the community through various activities and volunteer opportunities
A minimum of 5 years experience in an automotive dealership or a related environment with some leadership experience
Post secondary education in dealership management, business or a related area of study in preferred
