Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure and mark sheet metal according to templateOperate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metalOperate laser cuttersGrind and buff seams, joints and rough surfacesInspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specificationCut materials using power tools or by handAssemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipmentFit and join sheet metal partsInstall sheet metal products according to specifications and building codesRead and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
