We are currently hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at our location in Burlington Ontario, Canada. This is a fully onsite role. The work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate the maximum possible number of quality outbound calls daily to customers, prospects, and leads

• Execute CSR responsibilities such as sending quotes, catalogues, and samples as well as making follow-up calls

• Order tracking and provide customer detailed delivery information for orders

• Respond to incoming customer inquiries (via phone, email, and walk-in) as promptly as possible

• Acquire and maintain detailed product and application knowledge

• Work patiently and knowledgeably with customers

• Heavy order entry and sample requests entered quickly and accurately

• Cooperate with other members of the team to meet customers’ needs

• Discuss customer applications and recommend products based on customer specifications

• Use CRM software to manage customer, prospect, and lead activity and information

• Perform related job duties as assigned and required.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• High School diploma required

• At least 1 year of related experience in customer service or sales is strongly preferred

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Superb time management and ability to multi-task and engage in several activities at once

• Quick and accurate entry of orders

• Dependable and reliable, with a strong work-ethic

• Strong listening and problem-solving skills

• General PC skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)

• Able to communicate calmly and professionally with customers at all times.
