Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for accuracy and financial integrity? We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic team. If you're looking for an opportunity to grow within a vibrant company and contribute significantly, this might be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Reconcile accounts, review discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential risks or areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments on budgeting processes and financial planning strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in a public accounting firm is essential.
- CPA certification or candidacy is highly preferred (CPA license can still be in progress).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP is advantageous.
- Proven understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create detailed reports
- Great attention-to-detail paired up strong problem-solving abilities
