Operate heavy equipmentRead blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controlsClean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanksMeasure distance, volume, length and weightOperate computer controlled equipmentComplete onboard and other logsConduct pre-operational checks on equipmentOperate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipmentOperate two-way radios and other communication equipmentPerform minor repairs to equipmentOperate hydraulic pumping systems
