Hi Performance Distributors is a growing and well-established player in the hobby industry specializing in Remote Control, Plastic Models, Diecast, Model Rockets, Metal Detectors and more. Our mission is to enable Canadians to have fun!

We are looking for an ambitious National Sales Manager who demonstrates our values of Care, Honour and Initiative and wants to make a difference and positively impact the lives of people across the country. Note, this is not a remote role.

Your Role:

Grow the sales team in quality and quantity by:

Developing and scaling team members
Providing strong day-to-day leadership for the sales and business development team
Overseeing and aligning our marketing efforts

Specific job role duties include:

Building and optimizing the Hi Performance sales process
Coaching the sales team individually and in groups to strengthen selling skills
Maximizing CRM usage to drive revenue
Scaling the sales team through strategic, high-quality hiring
Setting and executing a sales strategy to attract new customers and significantly grow revenue over the next decade

Your Qualifications:

At least 5 years of proven sales management and leadership experience
A passion for developing people and advancing their sales skills
Strong quantitative abilities and a highly analytical, data-driven mindset
Enthusiasm for ideating, testing, analyzing, marketing, and iterating
Excellent communication skills and an outgoing, engaging style
A collaborative team player
A balanced mix of creativity and analytical thinking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
