Compensation & Placement: Salary is determined by the HTS Faculty Salary Grid, ranging from $63,900 – $97,000 for Faculty with up to 5 years of experience and $84,100– $124,800 for those with 5+ years of teaching experience. Final placement is based on recognized teaching years, degrees, and Additional Qualifications (AQs)

About This Faculty Role:

HTS has an exciting permanent opportunity as an educator to join our Middle School, Grades 6-8, as an Art Teacher ( LTO August 2026-February 2027 )

The successful candidates will oversee the academic progress and personal growth of each student in their assigned courses and be fully involved in co-curricular activities.

What You Need:

We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:

Ontario Teacher Certification with qualifications in junior/intermediate arts
The willingness and ability to collaborate with fellow teachers including interdisciplinary projects
Deep knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success Policies
Knowledge of Ontario’s - 21st century competencies
Experience or expertise in learner-centered instructional approaches: Project-based learning, Design thinking or Challenge-based learning
Experience integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and augment the learning experience
Experience working from a DEI framework
Experience curating and displaying artwork
