About the role:

As we invest in our growth, we're looking for a talented Senior Associate for our Canadian Sales team based out of our Toronto office, who has a strong background in business development with excellent technical skills and sound business acumen.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a team in achieving customer and revenue targets for new client acquisition across multiple business sectors
Maintain the highest levels of client service and delivery of international financial products
Act as the key contact, maximising value for our clients and negotiating the best commercial terms
Forge, develop & maintain partnerships by working with relevant stakeholders to deliver comprehensive financial solutions
Discussing market opportunities and challenges with clients to acquire new business for the firm
Identify, target & close high-value business clients and strategic introducers, promoting the international financial products offered by the firm

Primary Responsibilities

Acquire new business clients across various industries and sectors
Meet customer acquisition and revenue targets through achieving the best commercial terms for international financial products
Work with senior management to build relevant products and services within the Canadian market
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of work experience in Sales, Client Coverage, Business Development or Product Management in the financial services sector
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French proficiency considered an asset)
Ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations
Must have an extensive professional network within the Canadian business community
Strong understanding of international banking and financial services
Excellent relationship management skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment in Technology, Financial Services or Banking sector
Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
A confident self-starter with a positive attitude
Eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
