Job Description

The Supervisor/ Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the completion of commercial concrete forming jobs in a timely manner. This will be done by scheduling and overseeing your work crew, ensuring that you have the proper material and equipment on site, meeting and communicating with general contractors and subcontractors. You will be responsible for training and ensuring your crew are set up for success. You will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety of your crew and that all team members are in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Duties

Assist in the scheduling of concrete for various construction projects.
Assist in concrete forming.
Follow blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete.
Perform daily safety maintenance checks including but not limited to site safety, equipment safety and material safety
Perform daily, weekly and monthly safety meeting with team to ensure compliance and health and safety of your team
Manage your team effectively to reduce downtime on site
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore/Construct Connect for project tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with foreman and team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Always be on site to effectively lead your team
Be able to communicate successfully with the general contractor site superintendent regarding all project details, changes, etc.

Qualifications

Proven experience in supervising a commercial concrete forming projects
Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
Proficiency in using construction management software.
Strong understanding of blueprints for effective execution of tasks.
Strong knowledge of commercial concrete forming
Ability to supervise small teams when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
