Tasks

Administer staff consultation and grievance proceduresIdentify current and prospective staffing requirementsCollect and screen applicantsAdvise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employmentReview candidate inventoriesContact potential applicants to arrange interviewsRecruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutionsCo-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidatesNotify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offersAdvise managers and employees on staffing policies and proceduresOrganize staff consultation and grievance proceduresNegotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment processDetermine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff trainingSupervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping dutiesRecruit and hire staff
