About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Senior Executive - Accounts Payable to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial disbursements across our e-commerce platform - including merchant payouts, vendor payments, and payout calculation reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What you'll do:

Process and verify merchant payout disbursements in line with agreed settlement cycles and contractual terms
Perform thorough rechecks and reconciliations of payout calculations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies before disbursement
Manage end-to-end vendor payout workflows, including invoice matching, approval tracking, and timely payment execution
Review and validate financial data related to seller commissions, returns, adjustments, and fee deductions on the platform
Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable records, transaction logs, and payment schedules
Assist in generating financial reports related to payables, cash flow, and working capital requirements
Coordinate with internal teams (Marketplace Operations, Seller Management, Finance) and external vendors/merchants to resolve payment queries
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and payables reconciliation
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company financial policies
Identify and flag process gaps or calculation errors and suggest improvements to streamline payout operations

What you'll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a similar role
Hands-on experience or strong exposure to the e-commerce industry, preferably with marketplace or seller payout processes
Solid understanding of accounts payable principles, vendor management, and general ledger accounting
Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail, especially for payout validation and reconciliation tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for financial data analysis and reporting
Experience working with ERP systems or AP automation tools is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
