Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide meal preparation, light-housekeeping, and provide companionship and personal care.
Happier Aging is at the heart of what we do – enabling seniors to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities and Daily Living) as outlined by the Care Designer.
Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
Meet the safety needs to the client and use equipment safely and properly.
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge while practicing safely and properly.
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly using an online app

Requirements:

Able to work multiple shifts of 2 - 8 hours per shift, in at least TWO OF THE FOLLOWING CITIES: COQUITLAM, PORT COQUITLAM, PITT MEADOWS, MAPLE RIDGE OR MISSION.
6 Months full time caregiving experience (or equivalent)
Internationally Educated Nurses with personal care experience are also welcome to apply.
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
Must be able to speak fluently and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search within the last 12 months (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
Double Covid-19 vaccination required.
Negative TB test within the last 2 years (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
Ability to efficiently travel to and from multiple client homes in one day. Vehicle and class 5 driver’s license will be an asset.
