Overview
Orchard Heights is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Dental Assistant to join our modern dental practice in Creston, BC. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software such as Power Practice is an asset but not required. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a professional environment committed to patient centered care. Potential signing bonus/relocation package for the right candidate.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist dentists during various procedures,
Take dental radiographs,
Manage patient records efficiently using Power Practice dental software,
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care,
Ensure patient comfort and addressing any concerns during and after visits,
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment at all times, and
Opportunity to work in a hospital setting on occasion if desired.

Experience

Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of dental procedures and protocols. However, mentorship and training can be provided for new grads or inexperienced candidates.
Certification in dental assisting is required and candidate must be licensed with BCCOHP.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
