Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and end-users to ensure projects align with organizational goals.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation reviews.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT business analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, process modelling (e.g., BPMN, UML), and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Visio.
Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, or cybersecurity.
