Plan, set up and administer accounting systemsEnsure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal controlPrepare financial statements and reportsConduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirementsDevelop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedurePrepare income tax returns from accounting recordsAnalyze financial documents and reportsExamine accounting recordsAssist in the planning and execution of financial statement auditsKeep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
