The Opportunity:

Scope of the position:

As an experienced Communications Coordinator at Refrigerative Supply Limited, you play a key role in strengthening connection, clarity, and engagement across our branches and distributions centers throughout Western Canada. You will elevate our internal and external communication by identifying gaps, recommend solutions, and execute impactful initiatives that aligns with our culture and organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Communications Support

Support the development and execution of RSL’s communication strategy to ensure consistent, timely, and transparent messaging across the organization.
Inform and engage employees by crafting and distributing internal updates, announcements, and communication packages.
Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure communication is timely, relevant, and accessible to all employees.
Collaborate with different departments, branches and distribution centres to identify communication gaps and propose actionable improvements.
Ensure all messaging aligns with organizational goals and our “Culture by Design” philosophy.

Talent Brand Development

Lead initiatives that enhance our employer brand and showcase our culture and values across internal and external channels.
Develop compelling content and campaigns that attract top talent and engage employees.
Support storytelling that highlights employee success, community involvement, and organizational achievements.

Content Creation & Platform Management

Create and manage engaging content for internal platforms (Intranet, Teams, TVs) and external platforms (social media, career sites) to ensure they are up to date.
Produce regular newsletters, digital media content, and other materials that drive engagement and brand visibility.
Lead communications projects and initiatives with creative ideas, through internal sources and team brainstorming.

Internal Event Communication and Coordination

Organize and support key Internal events such as town halls, ABMs, and culture-building activities.
Create materials including agendas, slide decks, posters and post-event summaries.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Track engagement metrics and provide insights to refine strategies.
Stay current on best practices in employer branding and communications.

Skills and Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or employer branding, with a strong portfolio of talent brand initiatives.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing at a detailed, operational level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CMS/Social Media management tools, SharePoint (Intranet), and content management systems is an asset.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

What we offer:

The target salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 CAD per annum. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate's relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
