Overview

Richwil Truck Centre Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual with a strong work ethic to join our Woodstock team as the new Shop Foreman. This position is a vital communication link between service technicians and the Parts department.

The shop foreman directs and supports technicians to ensure that all repairs are done efficiently and correctly. Additionally, this position ensures the service department consistently maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and adheres to all company safety policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring all work is fairly and equally assigned
Ensuring all repairs are properly documented, tech’s comments are descriptive and precise, and all vehicles are road-tested before submission for closing
Reviewing/signing off all completed work orders, noting technician comments, signature, repair completion and road test completion
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Understanding/ensuring compliance with all International® vendor policies and warranty procedures

Qualifications

Licensed diesel mechanic with a minimum of 5-years of experience in heavy-duty trucks
Must be a team player with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Self-motivated and have good verbal & written communication skills
Flexible and able to adapt to change readily
Superior problem-solving skills to achieve a win-win solution
The ability to multitask and good organizational skills
Knowledgeable on Microsoft
Experience in an International dealership is considered an asset
