Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Select type of insulation requiredMeasure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power toolsApply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methodsFit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studsFabricate and apply removable insulation pads and coversEstimate costs and materialsRemove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
