Job Description

Rogers Law Group is seeking a Lawyer with 3 - 5 years of family law litigation experience to join our firm. You will have the opportunity to work independently and take on meaningful files. Mentorship is available as needed. This is a hybrid remote role where you will work a minimum of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home.

Key Responsibilities

Manage family law, civil, and estate litigation files
Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, settlement proposals, correspondence, etc
Attend trials, applications, mediations, and discoveries
Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
Collaborate with support staff and other lawyers to advance matters efficiently

Hybrid Work

This is a hybrid remote position. You will work in the office at least two set days per week, with the remaining days worked from home unless additional in-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

Called to the Bar in BC with 3 to 5 years of family law litigation experience
Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in client service
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
