Direct trust account investmentsIdentify clients' financial goals and objectivesManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsPlan, set up and administer accounting systemsArrange training for staffEnsure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal controlPrepare financial information for individuals, departments or companiesDevelop financial plans for clientsPrepare reports and audit findingsMake recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planningPrepare financial statements and reportsArrange for sale of financial products and investmentsConduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirementsDevelop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedurePrepare income tax returns from accounting recordsReview and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulationAnalyze financial documents and reportsExamine accounting recordsInvestigate possible unethical conduct or breeches of securities or commodity futures lawProvide financial, business and tax adviceAssist in the planning and execution of financial statement auditsKeep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systemsOversee payroll administration
