This position is project lead for physical modeling in the HyperLynx Advanced Solvers group. The core of this job is taking in customer layout data and preparing it for simulation in electromagnetic solvers in a meshed representation. This frequently requires manipulating the geometry, finding relevant and acceptable approximations, and conditioning the model/mesh for better solution results. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to creatively translate technical requirements into geometric processes.

The team lead position is both technical and managerial, as it requires delegation of tasks to a small team, monitoring their progress, and ensuring the end results are acceptable. Also negotiating requirements with the field and working collaboratively to discover the best way to solve problems. Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

Requirements

Education:

MS or higher with 10 or more years industry experience
BS or higher with 15 years industry experience
