Tasks

Install electrical controls and panel boxesReplace and repair electrical controls and panel boxesInstall underground wiring and cablesKeep maintenance reports and documentationDesign and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installationsSplice, join and connect wiresDesign and construct low voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installationsTest and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuitsDetermine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locationsTroubleshoot and isolate faultsInstall surface mount and/or overhead cablesInstruct apprenticesInstall power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systemsSupervise other workersGround and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubsEstimate costs and materialsRenovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structuresConduct preventive maintenance programsRead and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specificationsCommission systems and components
