Tasks

Schedule workArrange for maintenance and repair workAssist clients/guests with special needsBe the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situationsCo-ordinate activities with other work units or departmentsEnsure smooth operation of computer equipment and machineryMonitor quality and production levelsOversee cleaning of specialty and difficult itemsPrepare and submit progress and other reportsRequisition or order materials, equipment and suppliesResolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product qualitySupervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workersSupervise other hair stylists and other staffKnowledge of licensing regulationsPerform same duties as workers supervisedCut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
