Tasks

Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulseServe meal trays and feed patientsDeliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departmentsMake beds and maintain patients' roomsSupervise patients' exercise routinesMaintain inventory of suppliesBathe, dress and groom patientsTransport patients between care facilitiesTransport patients in wheelchair or stretcherAnswer call signals to determine patients' needsPrepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areasAdminister first aid in emergency situations
