Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and enhancing AECU’s HR functions. From recruitment and onboarding to training, employee engagement, and health & safety initiatives, you’ll be at the heart of creating an exceptional employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.
- Manage training platforms, coordinate learning opportunities, and track compliance to keep our team growing.
- Champion health and safety protocols, chairing our OHS committee and promoting a culture of workplace well-being.
- Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, driving meaningful change in alignment with our values.
- Maintain employee records, prepare reports, and contribute to HR projects that enhance efficiency and engagement.
- Collaborate on employee relations, offering guidance on HR policies, resolving concerns, and conducting exit interviews to inform future improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and organized HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive workplace and supporting our team every step of the way!
What You Bring
- A degree in Business Administration with a focus on HR or equivalent education and experience (1-3 years in a similar role).
- Strong technical skills, including HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and a solid understanding of employment laws.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Pursuit of a CHRP designation is a bonus!
