Your role will be:
• Develop and lead adapted person-centered activities, both individual and group, in a permanent activity center for people living with a neuro-cognitive disorder.
• Support clients living with a neuro-cognitive disorder in their daily tasks and ensure their well-being throughout the activities.
• Welcoming participants in the morning (setting up the center, coffee) and their departure at the end of the day (tidying up and decorating) to maintain a pleasant and stimulating environment for participants.
• Organize special projects, such as themed activities, musical sessions, pet therapy sessions, or volunteer/intern mentoring and recognition projects.
• Take photos during activities to document and visually track them.
• Follow up on attendance with families via weekly calls and sending activity schedules to families.
• Manage client files, drafting regular reports and notes on participants' attendance and progress, as well as the progress of activities.
• Manage invoicing, activity statistics, petty cash and make small purchases for activities or the kitchen.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss issues and exchange with other professionals on therapeutic interventions and other Programs and Services meetings.
• Supervise interns and volunteers.
You will need:
• Diploma as a specialized educator, recreation technician or therapeutic recreation technician, or significant experience in recreation intervention, recreology, special education, gerontology, health or social work with people living with a neurocognitive disorder.
• Good command of neurocognitive disorders and their impact on individuals, with the ability to adapt interventions to the specific needs of each person through a person-centered approach
• Fluency in French and English is desirable to provide a helping relationship, orally, with a non-French-speaking clientele representing approximately 40% of the Company's clientele.

o Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday offer a stable and varied routine with the center opening to participants. There is also a possibility of opening the center on Mondays in the future.
