Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity The Network Architect responsible for design and implementation oversight of internal and perimeter networks to ensure Moneris has scalable, secure, and compliant network infrastructure that supports its business. Evaluate and select technologies, establish governance, standards, and deployment methodologies for delivery of network infrastructure service offerings. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering and Operations, Information Security, Development, and Departments’ teams to build large-scale projects, create frameworks and solutions designs, set standards and processes. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the SVP, Infrastructure Services and Support Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Lead and/or participate in projects with business, architecture, and development teams to design and implement network technologies and solutions Establish and maintain technology standards, processes and policies related to Network Infrastructure Be a Network subject matter expert to important Business and Technology stakeholders Advocate and promote modern, Agile infrastructure management practices and “Cloud first” strategy to driver change across development and infrastructure teams Provide support for escalated, complex incidents and problems from engineering and operations teams that impact Moneris and our merchants’ critical workflows Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor’s degree in software development or computer engineering required, or equivalent work experience Experience developing and maintaining network architectures, technical/solution designs and standards In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (I/eBGP, EIGRP, OSFP, MPLS), SD-WAN/SASE, firewall and network access management solutions 5+ years' experience implementing and managing Cisco Nexus, F5 BIG-IP/WAF, and Palo Alto Network Firewalls-based solutions Experience designing, implementing, and managing Software-defined Networking including Cisco ACI, Nutanix AHV/Open vSwitch Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Express Route, Azure VNet, Azure Application and Network security groups.
