Purchaser & Supply Chain Officer at Dispomed
Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Clerk plays a key role in supply management, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of the organization. Their mission includes supplier research, price negotiation, order management, and delivery tracking. The Purchasing Clerk actively contributes to cost optimization and product quality, thus supporting the company's performance and competitiveness.
What to expect in this role
- Assess requirements and maintain inventory levels based on sales and established minimums through the computer system.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure proper processing and confirmation.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for the required goods and services.
- Track order status and ensure deliveries are made within the expected timelines.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and communications with suppliers.
- Work closely with other departments (production, accounting, logistics) to ensure the company's needs are met.
What you need to succeed
1. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience using inventory management systems and managing orders and supplier relationships (essential).
- Inventory and stock management skills (essential).
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (essential).
- Proficiency in ERP software and office tools (Excel) (essential).
- Professional certification in purchasing management or logistics (an asset).
- College-level education in operations management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent experience.

- Ability to resolve problems efficiently.

Working Conditions
