Load, unload and transport construction materialsOperate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materialsPerform pre-operational inspectionRead blueprints to determine work requirements Clean and lubricate cranesErect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricadesOperate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structuresMix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphaltAssist in aligning pipes during pipeline constructionAssist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofsClean and pile salvaged materialsPerform routine maintenance workClean up chemical spills and other contaminantsRemove rubble and other debris at construction sitesDirect traffic at or near construction sites
