Roadworthy International is a one stop shop for quality tires at affordable prices. We are currently looking to hire one (1) full-time (30-40 hours per week) Procurement Officer to join our team of professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Procure general and specialized products, including quality tires and related materials, for
use or resale by Roadworthy International.
-Assess supply market trends, analyze potential risks, and prepare forecasts and recommendations to support purchasing decisions.
-Conduct financial research to guide contract negotiations and bids.
-Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in procurement processes.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective suppliers and
vendors.
-Utilize the company’s purchasing power to negotiate better pricing, secure reliable suppliers, and ensure timely product availability.
-Manage inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure a timely supply of materials.
-Develop detailed specifications for the equipment and materials to be acquired.
-Monitor, expedite, and troubleshoot orders.
-Address internal inquiries, reach out to suppliers for information, clarify purchasing requirements, and provide timely information as needed.
Requirements:
- Work experience: 1 year of relevant work experience
- Language: English
- Education: College diploma
Benefits:
- 10 business days of vacation time per year.
- Salary: $36 to $40.00 hourly (to be negotiated).
