Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and jointsApply, level and smooth coats of plasterClean and prepare surfacesCure freshly plastered surfacesCut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior cornersFill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knifeMeasure, cut, fit and install drywall sheetsMix plaster ingredients to desired consistencySmooth out excess compound and allow coat to dryPrepare wall and ceiling layoutsEstimate costs and materials
