Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As an Identity Access Management Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing Identity Access Management and Identity Governance platforms across the organization. You will collaborate with leadership and teams to develop a comprehensive governance platform, ensuring seamless integration of all applications and systems. Additionally, they oversee PKI governance, manage certificates, and create frameworks for certificate issuance and rotation. You will support the Senior Manager, Identity Management in building out and executing the long-term roadmap for the IAM team within the InfoSec group.
This is a Full-time, Permanent role will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Identity Management.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Developing implementing managing monitoring and reporting on the organization's IAM tools such as the IGA platform Saviynt and IAM platform Microsoft Entra to enhance identity governance and streamline access management
- Developing implementing and automating user provisioning de-provisioning and role-based access controls in collaboration with other leaders and team members throughout the Vancity environment
- Coordinating user access audits with the IT GRC and Enterprise Risk Management teams to validate appropriate access is in place
- Developing standards and guidelines for identity management with the IT GRC team that system and application owners must adhere to
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a highly related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in identity management, access control, or cybersecurity
- The following certifications are an asset: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), GIAC Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as MS Entra, Okta, Saviynt, SailPoint, etc.
- Experience in Java development would be advantageous

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $91,000 to $136,400 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
