Job Title: Afternoon Shift SupervisorJob DescriptionJoin a forward-thinking company specializing in the manufacture of high-efficiency transformer units and power distribution solutions. We are seeking an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to ensure timely completion of assembly tasks, crucial for meeting our project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the assembly of power distribution units using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and air-compressed power tools.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams for assembly tasks.
- Perform electrical wiring to panels and install them into the outer shell of distribution units.
- Test completed power distribution units to ensure functionality.
- Engage in general cleaning duties, such as building skids and other assigned tasks.
- Collaborate closely with a buddy system to ensure comprehensive understanding of mechanical assembly procedures.
- Supervise team members to foster development and ensure efficient workflow.
Essential Skills- 2-3+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
- 2+ years of experience reading and working from electrical schematics.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly with hand and power tools.
- 2+ years of team lead experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Strong team management and supervisory skills.
- Experience in production management and plant operations.

Work Environment
Work the afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with a $1 premium for afternoons. All materials are provided and organized for efficiency. Collaborate in a team-based environment, with good lighting conditions, although the facility may be slightly dusty.
