Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Philanthropy Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data in the foundation’s CRM, supporting donor engagement, and enabling community-centric fundraising processes. You’ll work closely with the Philanthropy team to ensure smooth operations, generate accurate reporting, and meaningful donor experiences. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to equity and inclusion.
This is a Full-time, Permanent role that will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement which can be fulfilled primarily from your homebased office in BC. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events at our 312 Main location or within the Lower Mainland.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Processing donations and distributing tax receipts
- Inputting and updating constituent data in the CRM system using fields, notes, tags, and tasks
- Performing profile updates and ensuring data aligns with diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
- Implementing segmentation and tracking for accurate reporting and generating mailing lists and reports that support community centric fundraising
- Coordinating routine donor touchpoints such as welcome letters and In Honour/In Memory processes
- Providing administrative support for meetings, events, and payment processing
- Maintaining data documentation including dictionaries, workflow diagrams, and job aids
- Liaising with CRM vendors for troubleshooting and integration issues
- Recommending improvements to data management processes and supporting JEDI principles
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration or data management, preferably in a non-profit or charitable environment
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and data integrity best practices
- An aspiration to work within an anti-oppressive and anti-racist organization
- Knowledge and experience applying REDI principles
- Alignment with the foundation’s values and our commitments, including to the Philanthropic Declaration on Truth + Reconciliation, the Halifax Declaration on Anti-Racism, and the Canadian Philanthropic Commitment on Climate Change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $49,700 to $74,500 per annum. The salary is expected to be up to the midpoint of the salary range for this role ($62,000 per annum). The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
