Qualifications
- 2–4 years of practical experience in tractor trailer or heavy vehicle maintenance required
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent required
- Vocational training in mechanics (DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent) preferred
- Specialized training in repair and replacement of vehicle components is considered an asset
- Proficiency with shop tools and diagnostic equipment required
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (F), or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to read and navigate using paper maps and digital tools (e.g., Waze, Google Maps)
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and maintenance software systems
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (cold, heat, etc.)

• The associate must be able to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms.

• Given the frequent movement of large trucks through the workplace, the associate must be able to see and hear in order to safely navigate the work environment.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
