The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Title: Apigee Lead
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a candidate where Primary skill should be Apigee Lead, with Middleware integration background who can work directly with customer and handle/ coordinate with offshore team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical skills:
- Deep knowledge of the Apigee platform (Edge, X, Hybrid).
- Expertise in API architecture, security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, JWT), and RESTful API design.
- Proficiency in proxy development and policy creation in Apigee.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Understanding of networking, UNIX/Linux commands, and database systems like MongoDB / Cassandra is added advantage
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Interface development, with a significant portion in API management and architecture.
- Proven experience in designing and guiding the building of Apigee implementations.
Soft skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- The Associate will primarily support on API Gateway
- This resource will help work with the migration plan for customers’ current API Gateway solution, and help teams onboard the new platform
- The resource will be approaching various teams to understand their current scope, and working proactively to help them migrate to strategically recommended solutions
- The resource will also be performing support/operational/consultant activities related to the TechM services
- The associate will support migration project involving FedRAMP applications upgrading the API Gateway solution
