Account Manager
In this role, you will manage and expand a portfolio of clients who use our Managed IT Services offering. You'll be part of a highly skilled team with a deep understanding of client needs across various platforms, leveraging technology to drive business success in an evolving landscape. Your focus will be on delivering tailored IT solutions that enhance client experiences, foster growth, and optimize performance.
You will play a key role in engaging clients in strategic business conversations, identifying their challenges and objectives, and translating those discussions into a high-level technical roadmap that aligns with their long-term vision.
The ideal candidate comes with significant experience in Account Management at an MSP, with a proven track record of revenue expansion and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Over the first 90 days, you’ll be introduced to key accounts (>$2500/MRR), understand their current technology stack, and jointly develop an account management plan with Site’s leadership team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your portfolio, cross-selling and upselling our range of solutions and services.
- Coordinate with Project and Managed Services teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects and services.
- Monitor and report on client feedback, issues, and satisfaction levels.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with clients and develop technology roadmaps.
- Develop and present proposals, contracts, and quotations to clients, negotiating terms and conditions.
- Keep updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and product enhancements.
- Actively seek opportunities for self-development through training and learning new releases or solutions.
- Some travel to client sites will be required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is an asset
- 2-5 years experience working in sales/account management
- Experiencing working within a professional services environment and/or industrial sector clients and companies a major asset
- Experience with AutoTask and Datto RMM
- Strong time management and organization skills, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
- Strong communication and client service skills with an impeccable attention to detail
- Experience with Managed IT Services, ERP systems, or similar solutions a strong asset
Compensation and Additional Perks
- Competitive Compensation based on Skill set and experience can range between $110,000 - $120,000 + commission
