Akkodis is seeking a Specialized IT Consultant (Clinical Data Specialist) for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally, looking for experience delivering healthcare data integration projects with mandatory expertise in HL7 v2.x/v3 and exposure to FHIR and XML, and strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and source systems (HIS, EMR, LIS), hands-on experience with integration engines, and proficiency with HL7 conformance tools such as Caristix, XMLSpy, or 7Edit. Preference would be someone with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience Comprehensive understanding of health care sector workflows and source system technologies (such as HIS, EMR, LIS), along with hands-on experience working with Integration Engines, is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in delivering electronic health data integration projects or operations is required. This includes expertise in the acquisition, integration, and utilization of health data employing healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 V2.x (mandatory) and V3. Practical experience with FHIR and XML messaging principles is highly desirable.
- 5+ years experience, applied knowledge of HL7 Health Standard message conformance tooling (e.g., Caristix, XMLSpy, 7Edit, Postman, etc.) for HL7 v2.x, v3, and FHIR.
