Overview:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to provide basic technical assistance in Kitimat, B.C. This is only for one week, starting Dec 7 and ending on Dec 12, 2025. There will be training because additional work is expected in the new year. The initial work is to deal with configuring phones, but later work will involve troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and network issues, as well as setting up new equipment. The working for this assignment is from 7:00am to 3:00pm. If you require travel and lodging, it will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common software and network issues
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Prior experience in IT support is helpful but not required
