Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Project Leader
Term: 1 Year contract - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Job Description
A Senior Project Manager/Leader is required to support a multi-year modernization initiative for electronic health record (EHR) solutions. The role will focus on integrating clinical healthcare sites onto a provincial EHR platform, enabling improved data contribution, data consumption at point-of-care, and enhanced adoption support across the healthcare system.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience managing electronic health-related projects
- Hands-on experience deploying clinical software systems
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and associated business processes
- Advanced understanding of Project Management concepts (scope, risk, planning, quality, roles, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong time-management abilities with experience handling tight deadlines and multiple priorities
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, including conflict resolution and cross-team coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration of clinical sites onto the EHR platform
- Manage issues, risks, scope, and service change requests to ensure successful deployments
- Engage and manage relationships with clinical sites and stakeholders
- Gather business and technical requirements; maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate closely with internal technical and operational teams
Desired Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience with MS Project, MS Teams, and project management tools
- Knowledge of EHR systems and other healthcare information systems
- Experience in health system business implementation and deployment projects
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of privacy and health legislation (PHIPA, FIPPA, HPPA)
- Experience with change management, workflow redesign, and quality improvement
- Experience working with clinicians or clinical data environments
