Senior Project Manager – 12+ Months Contract (Toronto, ON)
Pay Rate: CAD$90-CAD$100/Hr
Overview
Seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-year initiatives modernizing electronic health record (EHR) systems. The role manages end-to-end deployment, integration, and onboarding of clinical sites, ensuring successful delivery of EHR implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle EHR integration projects, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget.
- Engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and maintain detailed project schedules and integrated plans.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and change requests across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams (IAM, Service Desk, integration teams) to support deployments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication and reporting.
- Support training, readiness activities, go-live execution, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Maintain project documentation, repositories, reporting logs, and status updates.
- Support change management activities, workflow adjustments, and end-user adoption.
Must-Have Experience
- 7+ years managing electronic health–related projects, ideally with clinical software deployments.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare business processes.
- Deep knowledge of project management concepts (scope, risk, quality, planning).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and time-management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience with MS Project, MS Teams, and project management tools.
- Background in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- Knowledge of EHR systems, healthcare information systems, and clinical/lab workflows.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals and supporting complex implementations.
- Understanding of privacy acts such as PHIPA, FIPPA, HPPA.
