Senior Specialized IT Consultant (Sr. Product Data Conformance & Integration Specialist)
Pay Rate: CAD$80/hr - CAD$90/hr

Overview:
Seeking a senior specialist to support data conformance, validation, and integration activities for multiple digital health initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring contributed clinical data meets required interoperability standards and is ready for integration into enterprise health data repositories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data conformance, validation, and integration activities across multiple projects.
- Review HL7 v2, v3, and FHIR messaging to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and readiness for contribution.
- Provide subject matter expertise on clinical data standards, interoperability, and data integration practices.
- Work with project managers, technical teams, and clinical SMEs to guide interface development and resolve data quality issues.
- Manage multiple concurrent work packages and ensure deliverables meet required specifications.
- Conduct conformance testing using recognized HL7 validation tools.
- Support documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer activities.
Must-Have Experience:
- 7+ years delivering electronic health data integration projects or operations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and systems (HIS, EMR, LIS).
- Expertise in HL7 v2.x (mandatory), HL7 v3, FHIR, and XML messaging.
- Hands-on experience with integration engines and interface technologies.
- Proficiency with conformance tools (Caristix, XMLSpy, 7Edit, Postman).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with clinical workflow processes in hospitals or health sector environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare applications (e.g., Meditech, Cerner, Epic).
- Familiarity with diagnostic systems, pharmacy systems, and lab systems.
- Experience supporting complex projects involving sensitive health data.
Additional Notes:
- Involves collaboration with technical teams, product teams, and data management stakeholders.
- Includes preparation of documentation, test scenarios, sign-off packages, and summary reports.
- Requires ongoing knowledge transfer and clear communication with internal teams.
